Ce vieux pays qui sent bon le moyen orient

Israel, ses monts et ses valées à pertes de vue ! Le plat ? Inconnu au bataillon. Ce pays se montre sous ses plus belles formes, d'est en ouest, des fois sablonneux, des fois verdoyants. Les villes baties à même les pentes, cela semble faire parti du quotidien des gens de s'affranchir de ces dénivelés.
Jérusalem
Avec un soleil au rendez-vous, Jérusalem se présente comme ce lieu historique tel qu'on peut se l'imaginer en lisant d'anciens textes, mais dont rien est figé. Jérusalem est une ville active, qui n'arrête pas de bouger, avec une populaton cosmopolite.
La vieille ville, entourrée de remparts se retrouve au milieu de l'actuelle ville plus étendue. La vieille ville est sacrément tourisque, mais il faut dire qu'elle porte plusieurs milliers d'années d'histoire. Plusieurs portes fortifiées permettent d'accéder à l'enceinte de la vielle. On imagine cependant pas, de l'extérieur, l'effervescence qui s'y produit chaque jour, avec boutiques, manchards ambulants, vendeurs de tapis, de légumes, touristes qui essaient de se frayer un chemin dans l'agitation de la ville.
Bethleem
Lieu de naissance de Jésus, cette ville abrite un grand marché qui en vaut le détour, que ce soit pour le prix des articles ou pour le dépaysement. Beaucoup moins tourisque que la première, on peut prendre le temps de se balader dans les petites allées et voir des batiments d'une belle architecture.
Nazareth
Cet autre lieu historique, qui est cependant l'un des moins tourisques mais est également le moins bien conservé des trois. Nazareth se présente également de petites rues dénivelées. La ville n'est pas très grande, et le centre ville consiste en une grande rue avec quelques restaurants éparses. Non loin de Nazareth, et accessible par le bus, il y a le lac de Tibériade, et l'église de Cana, bien connu pour son vin et le premier miracle.
